Spot On Content & PR is led by Nicki Bourlioufas LLB(Hons) BEc who has 20 years’ experience working in the media and public relations.
After working 15 years in the media, Nicki offers public relations and communications expertise direct through her all-in-one business Spot On Content & PR. No degree in PR or communications can replace the training received in a newsroom, which enables Nicki to deliver the very best PR results for her clients. Nicki knows what makes the news, and has key media contacts, helping to achieve valuable media attention.
Nicki began her career working as an editor and journalist writing for high-profile media publications including The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian and Wall Street Journal editions. She has worked as a finance correspondent at Dow Jones Newswires and as business editor at NEWS.com.au.
Nicki’s current and former clients include asset managers BetaShares, VanEck, Research Affiliates, GMO, AustralianSuper, MTAA Super, as well as the CFA Societies Australia, Shaw & Partners, the Commonwealth Bank, Westpac, and SQM Research. She has developed specialist financial knowledge as well as having broad understanding of how the Australian media works.
Nicki has previously worked in consultancy roles with PR agencies BlueChip Communication and Financial and Corporate Relations (FCR) where she serviced clients including Blackrock, Aberdeen Asset Management, JP Morgan, Vanguard, Macquarie Group, Stockland, Clearview and CentricWealth.
She is a qualified lawyer. This gives Nicki high-level analytical skills which enable her to navigate the complex world of laws and regulations, which affect particularly the financial services and investment industry.
